Windshield Replacement on a 2002 Audi A6
We’ve been hard at work here at Titan Auto Glass. Recently, we just completed repairs to this 2002 Audi A6 from Rowley, MA. German cars can be a bit tricky, as they require a non-conductive urethane on the windshield replacement. What is non-conductive urethane? Non-conductive urethane, also called High Modulus Urethane (HMU), is an adhesive used in the repair of windshields. Most German made vehicles require the use of a non-conductive urethane because if the urethane conducts electricity it will interfere with GPS, radio and cell phone reception (if vehicles have these options).
If you need your windshield or other auto glass replaced, you can be sure that with Titan you’re getting the absolute best quality of work coupled with true affordability. Titan Auto Glass is located in Woburn MA and we serve all of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, we will come to you.
